The SAC Regional Centre Bern, an important hub for mountain sports enthusiasts in the region, received a much-needed modernisation of its online presence through sponsorship from Raphael Augsburger. Raphael Augsburger, a paediatrician from Schönbühl and a personal acquaintance, wanted his support to ensure that the regional centre received a modern and functional online platform. Webtrics was proud to take on this project and develop a comprehensive, user-friendly solution.

Our task was to create a modern and appealing website that met the requirements of the SAC Regional Centre Bern. We chose a WordPress solution based on the powerful Elementor theme. This platform provides the flexibility and adaptability required to integrate the various functions and requirements of the regional centre.

A key feature of the new website is the integrated member calendar. It allows members to find out about upcoming events and activities and register for them. This function encourages active participation and strengthens the sense of community within the regional centre. We also integrated a member chat to facilitate communication and exchange between members.

Since the new website was launched, Remo Lehmann has been responsible for managing the content. He ensures that the information remains current and relevant and that members are informed about important events and updates. While Remo Lehmann manages the editorial content, Webtrics remains responsible for the entire technical infrastructure. This work includes regular updates, security checks and ongoing optimisation to ensure that the website remains up to date.

The successful implementation of this project demonstrates the importance of addressing each client’s specific needs and requirements and developing customised solutions.
